Neeraj Sharma started his career with YuvVani an All India Radio Channel dedicated to youth.
Inspired by the success stepped into the Radio Drama of AIR in 1973. Worked with Legendary actors and Directors of Radio Drama. Dedication, Hard Work and with the blessings of all seniors got the status of front line actors in a short span of time. Became Star Drama Voice with the play “Puton Phalo” Directed by Late. Satyendra Sharat. Became ace voice of Radio Drama since then and there was no look back.
Worked in all categories of Radio Plays with eminent Directors. Many of the plays got Akashwani Annual Awards.
Today A+ Grade Drama Voice of All India Radio.
Journey as a Stage Artist
Stage activity began at school level and got appreciation with many awards.
College Cultural activities and stage Drams achieved recognition at University Level.
Joined a dramatic group “Yavanika” and enacted main characters in number of plays. Got appreciation from the audience.
It was wonderful joining repertory company of Delhi Art Theatre run by Legend Shiela Bhatia. Acted in many productions of the repertory company with recognition.
Radio/Television Commercials
Started a new inning as a free lace artist in the Year 1981.
That was the time of Radio and TV Commercials.
Worked in almost all sound studios of Delhi and Mumbai where Radio/TV Commercials were being recorded.
Worked with many legends of the industry like Amin Sayani ji,Pt. Vinod Sharma ji, Brij Bhushan ji, Madhur Bhushan ji, Manohar Mahajan ji, Vishvamitra Adil, Nimmi ji.
Started free lancing as commercial voice and over the period of time became copy writer, Producer and Director of Radio/TV spots, Jingles and sponsored programmes.
Worked for many popular brands and reputed advertising agencies.
